Definitions

Pressure: Forcer per unit area

PSI: Stands for “Pounds per Square Inch”; unit for pressure

Center of mass: The center point of an object or system

Propulsion: To drive or push forward


Newton’s 1st Law: An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed while in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force


Newton’s 2nd Law: The acceleration of an object created by a net force is directly proportional to the magnitude of the net force and in the same direction as the net force and is inversely proportional to the mass of the object


Newton’s 3rd Law: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction
